A Little About MacDonald Pass

This morning the Big Ride riders climbed MacDonald Pass. Dad said he was third from last to get to the top...Kathy went ahead :) Dad said his average speed was 5 mph which is really good for him. We don't know what Kathy's speed was...all we know is it was faster *grin.

For those of you who don't know...
MacDonald Pass (6,320 feet) is a mountain pass located in the Rocky Mountains in Montana. In comparison, Snoqualmie Pass here in WA is 3,022 feet. From what Dad shared, it sounds like the views are fabulous and they had fabulous weather so most likely good see for miles. I'm guessing you must feel like you are on top of the world. The pass is west of Helena, MT on U.S. Route 12. It is located on the Continental Divide.

Way to go!
