Yea! You haven't been carried away by mosquitos and you haven't melted from the heat and we know you get a map each day so you won't get lost...but just in case, Samantha drew you a detailed map today! DW

Team Uncle Bud
Bruce & Kathy
Who is Uncle Bud?
Uncle Bud was Bruce's oldest brother and Kathy's Dad. He and Bruce had planned to do this ride together when Uncle Bud retired. Unfortunately Uncle Bud passed away in March of 2003. Bruce and Bud began biking together when Bruce was in his mid 40s and Bud was in his mid 50s. (They were both over the hill and so decided to climb some more.) Kathy and Bruce have been training since the beginning of the year for this memorable occasion in memory of Kathy's Dad. Go Team Uncle Bud!

FYI
Beth and Dad (aka Bruce) are the writers for this blog (with others contributing whether they know it or not). We will update as often as possible but Dad is finding that he doesn't always have internet capabilities. Some items/text added may be by word of mouth so the accuracy might be questionable...but even when it's straight from the horse's mouth it's questionable.*grin Dad may just email events and pictures and Beth will post or Beth will just make up stuff to write and have Joe draw the pictures. Either way...ENJOY!

Found your blog thru Pat Harm's. My family met her at our reunion in Coeur d'Alene. She stayed at my cousin's Vicki's cabin in Sandpoint.
You both are so amazing! Thank you for participating in this journey! I'll be checking back to see how you're doing. :)
